About me
Dr. Michael S. Chow is a surgeon who cares for patients with conditions affecting the head and neck, including cancer.
Chow is deeply committed to surgical education, with a focus on mentoring residents and medical students. In research, his interests include surgical outcomes, equity in surgical care and global health initiatives aimed at improving access to high-quality surgical treatment worldwide.
Chow earned his medical degree at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed a residency in otolaryngology with a focus on head and neck surgery at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at UCSF.
