About me

Dr. Nam Woo Cho is a radiation oncologist who cares for patients with lung cancer or melanoma.

Cho's research focuses on understanding how immunotherapy stimulates the immune system to fight cancer and on applying this knowledge to improve treatments.

Cho earned his medical degree and doctorate in cancer biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at UCSF.
