Dr. Nicola Perlman is a specialist in maternal and fetal medicine who cares for pregnant patients.

In research, Perlman studied the role of maternal biological age as a predictor of pregnancy outcomes. 

Perlman earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, where she served as chief resident of education and received a teaching award for her specialty. She completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. She also earned a master's degree with honors in art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
