About me

Dr. Nisha Hariharan is a hematologist-oncologist who cares for patients with blood disorders (both cancerous and non-cancerous) and a variety of solid tumors, with a focus in breast cancer. She utilizes treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy tailored to each individual patient. She strives to provide all of her patients with compassionate care and open communication.

Hariharan's research focuses on blood disorders, including both cancerous and noncancerous conditions. She has published her findings in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national hematology conferences.

Hariharan earned her medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Davis, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of California, San Diego.

Outside of work, Hariharan enjoys playing the piano and spending time outdoors.

      Dr. Hariharan clearly did her research. She analyzed 4 years of my lab results and saw a steady trend of my white blood cell count. She assured me it's not too concerning for my age and ethnic group.
