About me
Dr. Paula Porras Rodriguez is a surgeon who provides general and minimally invasive procedures for adults with a variety of conditions, including gallbladder disease, hernia, cancerous and noncancerous breast tumors, cancerous and noncancerous skin lesions, pilonidal disease (when hair and debris is trapped in the skin, causing inflammation) and hemorrhoids. She also removes unhealthy skin tissue and performs skin grafting (moving healthy tissue from one area of the body to cover damaged or missing skin elsewhere). She works to understand each patient's goals and life situation, making every decision alongside them.
Porras Rodriguez earned her medical degree from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Colombia. She completed a residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Porras Rodriguez is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is a member of the Association of Women Surgeons and the Latino Surgical Society.
