About me
Dr. Poorani Goundan is an endocrinologist who cares for patients with a wide range of hormonal conditions. She has a particular interest in managing thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
Goundan earned her medical degree at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in India. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital and a fellowship in endocrinology at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Goundan was awesome! She was very reassuring, obviously super smart but made everything make sense without any trouble. I feel like she is my partner in this, if that makes sense. I felt really good about the care plan.
