Rachel Dornhelm

Rachel Dornhelm is a social worker who cares for patients with a variety of conditions, including endocrine disorders and many kinds of cancer, such as anal cancer, bone and soft tissue cancers, and head and neck cancers. Her goal is to ensure that patients have access to resources and support for their emotional as well as physical health.

Dornhelm has special interests in geriatric medicine, helping patients adjust to serious illnesses, caregiver support and addressing health disparities. She enjoys collaborating with patients and their interdisciplinary health care teams to determine each patient's most pressing needs and empower their ability to meet those needs.

Dornhelm earned her master's degree in social welfare at the University of California, Berkeley.
