About me
Robin Fischer is a nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for adults with advanced heart failure. Her techniques include medication management, education focused on individual needs, and helping patients reduce their risks of other chronic illnesses.
Fischer received a practical nursing diploma from Louisiana Technical College, followed by an associate degree in nursing from Charity School of Nursing at Delgado Community College. At Loyola University New Orleans, she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing as well as her doctor of nursing practice degree. While at Loyola, she won two scholar awards. She is a member of the Item Writing Task Force for the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses.
Fischer is a proud mom of two adult children and a German shepherd dog.
