About me
Dr. Russell Ching is a cardiologist who strives to advocate for his patients within the health care system. Endeavoring to bring compassion into a technology-oriented setting, he practices a style of care based on trust.
Ching earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center and a cardiology fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center. He practiced cardiology in Southern California for 30 years before joining UCSF in 2013.
Ching has a strong interest in global health care and has participated in medical missions in developing countries. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
