She has a special interest in helping patients cultivate resilience and heal from the traumatic marginalization and internalized societal stigma that can accompany mental health issues.
After earning a bachelor's degree in sociology at San Francisco State University, Green earned her master's degree in counseling psychology, with a concentration in somatic psychology, at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Green is a dedicated movement and visual artist. She is a long-standing practitioner of body-oriented therapeutic practices such as contemporary dance, yoga and somatic modalities.
