Simran Grewal is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with heart failure, including those in need of heart transplantation. She has a special interest in rare forms of cardiomyopathy (problems with heart muscle that interfere with pumping blood), such as amyloidosis, a condition in which certain abnormal proteins build up in organs, which may include the heart.

Grewal's research involves implementing chronic care management programs for patients with heart failure, with the goal of improving care and reducing hospitalizations.

Grewal earned her master's degree in nursing at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Nursing.
