Dr. Spencer Yost is chief of anesthesia at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion and medical director of the six-bed intensive care unit at the Mount Zion hospital.

Yost earned his medical degree at UCSF and completed an anesthesia residency at Harbor – UCLA Medical Center, an affiliate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at UPMC Presbyterian, a hospital and research center affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
