About me
Dr. Sung Choi is a general and interventional cardiologist at the Cardiovascular Care and Prevention Center – Golden Gate Practice. He focuses on developing personal relationships with his patients to help them reduce their risk of future heart problems. He is particularly interested in the connection between exercise and cardiovascular health.
Choi earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia. He completed his residency as well as fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Choi is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

I have a very good relationship with Dr. Choi. I particularly like how he shows me the online calculations for my risk factors and encourages me to be proactive in monitoring my health. I feel comfortable that we are doing most everything possible to minimize risks and avoid surprises.

Dr. Choi is great with all of the above. I feel very comfortable discussing all my concerns with him. I like that his resolution to issues begin with the least impact on me and escalates from there. He is very personable and easy to talk to.
