About me

Dr. Sungat K. Grewal is a dermatologic surgeon specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser procedures and cosmetic dermatology. As co-director of laser surgery and aesthetic medicine, she combines expertise in cutting-edge skin cancer treatments with aesthetic procedures, prioritizing skin health while enhancing her patients' natural beauty. She is dedicated to crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and aspirations, offering a variety of cosmetic interventions, including injectables, light-based therapies and advanced laser treatments.

Grewal earned her medical degree from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and completed a residency in dermatology at UCSF. Following her residency, she completed an advanced fellowship in Mohs surgery and lasers at the University of California, Irvine. Grewal was a member of UC Irvine's Mohs surgical team and served as co-director of UCI's aesthetic medicine program and director of diversity, equity and inclusion within the department.

Grewal actively participates in the dermatology community, serving on the membership and safety boards of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). She is also a recognized educator, teaching laser surgery at hands-on workshops and continuing medical education courses hosted by leading organizations, including the ASLMS and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology; an associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery; and an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Association of Academic Cosmetic Dermatology.

Outside of work, Grewal is an international marathoner and avid hiker.
