Dr. Uchenna Nwosu is a nephrologist who cares for patients with kidney disease. In addition to helping them navigate living with the condition and its complications, he strives to ease the journey by addressing all aspects – physical, mental and emotional – of the various conditions underlying kidney disease. He has a particular interest in teaching future nephrologists.

Nwosu earned his medical degree at Meharry Medical College, where he also earned a master of health science degree. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in nephrology at UCSF.

Outside of the clinic, Nwosu loves Nigerian food, sports and learning about new things.
