About me

Veronica Fern is a family nurse practitioner who currently specializes in caring for patients at risk of cancer due to hereditary mutations such as BRCA or those causing Lynch syndrome, and particularly patients with multiple hereditary cancer risks. She helps to screen, examine, educate, support and connect patients to the appropriate specialists and research studies as needed. As a former primary care provider, she has a special interest in improving access to genetic services for underserved populations.

Fern earned her master's degree in nursing from UCSF.

When not working, Fern enjoys paddleboarding, engaging in a book club she founded, and reading detective novels.
