Dr. William H. Montgomery III is an orthopedic surgeon who cares for patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions. He specializes in nonsurgical treatments.

In his research, Montgomery focuses on developing new knee implants as well as tools and techniques to improve knee, shoulder and elbow surgery.

Montgomery earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (part of the State University of New York system). He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and a fellowship in sports medicine at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute.
