About me
Zaira Torres is a certified wound and ostomy nurse. She has particular expertise in caring for patients with acute and chronic wounds as well as those with ostomy diversions (surgically created abdominal openings used to drain waste from the body).
Torres earned her doctor of nursing practice degree from the University of San Francisco with the goal of becoming a family nurse practitioner. She trained at Emory University for her certification in wound and ostomy care.
