Occupational medicine specialist

Dr. Robert Kosnik, a certified occupational medicine specialist in the U.S. and Canada, is director of Occupational Health Services at UCSF Medical Center where he oversees programs to maintain the health of employees and to prevent the transmission of communicable diseases, Prior to joining UCSF, Kosnik provided professional services to a variety of industry sectors, including health care, in Canada for more thana 20 years.

Kosnik is past president of the Occupational and Environmental Association of Canada, past chair of the examination committee for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in the specialty of occupational medicine, and president of the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics in the United States. He is a clinical professor of medicine in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UCSF.
