Recovering from Bariatric Surgery
Patients spend an average of two to five days in the hospital following bariatric surgery, or longer if complications develop. Learn more here.
When other medically supervised methods of weight loss have failed, weight-loss surgery can be an effective way to lose weight and maintain that weight loss.
If you live in another country and are coming to UCSF for medical treatment, our patient liaisons can help coordinate all aspects of your visit.
