Helen Diller Hospital

Helen Diller Hospital is a 15-story facility located on UCSF Health’s Parnassus campus. It houses a general intensive care unit, specialized intensive care units for patients with cardiac or neurological issues, a specialty pharmacy, an emergency department and more. Imaging services, such as MRIs and CT scans, are available on-site.
Emergency care
Emergency Department Parnassus provides expert care for medical issues requiring immediate treatment, from heart attacks and strokes to deep cuts and broken bones. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Pharmacy
Specialty Pharmacy Parnassus supports patients with chronic, complex or rare diseases that require specific therapies. Their staff is specially trained in these therapies. There’s also a general pharmacy located across the street from the hospital at 500 Parnassus Ave. You don’t need to be a UCSF patient to use either pharmacy.
Parking
There’s a patient drop-off area directly in front of the hospital.

Dining options
You’ll find plenty of dining options at Moffitt Café and Moffitt Café Express, both located on the hospital’s second floor. Vending machines with snacks and drinks are available 24 hours a day.
