UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco

The UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco on our Mission Bay campus houses a range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric services, including radiology and imaging, a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit and our cardiothoracic surgery program.

You'll also find clinics focused on dozens of specialties at our pediatric outpatient center, less than a block away from the hospital, in the Gateway Medical Building.

Emergency care

The children's emergency department at our San Francisco hospital is focused exclusively on kids. It is staffed by doctors and nurses trained in pediatric emergency medicine, who are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Critical medical and surgical divisions are on call at all times for more intensive care.

To make your visit to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco more convenient, we have our own inpatient and outpatient Pharmacy at Mission Bay. Going beyond drug dispensation, we also offer pharmaceutical care and medication monitoring as part of your child's overarching health care team.
