The UCSF Aneurysm and Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Support Group encourages all patients with these blood vessel disorders, as well as their friends and family members, to join. A guest speaker is featured at each meeting, followed by an open discussion.

Parkinson's Disease Patient and Caregiver Support Group

The UCSF Parkinson's Disease Patient and Caregiver Support Group provides a forum to learn about medical and social issues that commonly affect people living with Parkinson's disease. Patients, caregivers and family members are welcome. Patients do not need to be receiving their care through the Veterans Affairs Health Care System to attend.

Young Onset Parkinson's Disease Support Group

The Young Onset Parkinson's Disease Support Group is for people who were diagnosed before the age of 50 and are currently under the age of 60.

Newly Diagnosed Parkinson's Disease Support Group

The Newly Diagnosed Parkinson's Disease Support Group is for people who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the past 5 to 6 years and their care partners.

Multiple Sclerosis Support Group

The UCSF Art of Living Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group meets once a month to provide an environment where patients and their loved ones can share experiences and encouragement. The group is facilitated by Riley Bove, MD, and Judith Sheridan, PhD. Partners, family members and friends are welcome to attend. The group hosts guest speakers from a variety of disciplines presenting on topics related to MS along with providing a forum for participants to share information, receive and offer support, and discuss relevant issues. Goals include helping participants learn new strategies for dealing with MS, become better able to cope with challenges and feel connected to a community.
