About me
Alyson Pelayo is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy or stem cell transplants for cancer, including blood cancers. She performs bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures (spinal taps) and other procedures for diagnostic and research purposes. She seeks to empower her patients to participate in their own care by establishing relationships based on trust and respect and by providing education throughout the course of treatment.
Pelayo earned a master's degree in nursing from Samuel Merritt University College of Nursing.
In her free time, Pelayo enjoys hiking with her family, tackling home do-it-yourself projects and taking a variety of art classes.
