About me
Dr. Amy Ransohoff is an obstetrician and gynecologist. She provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic care in both the clinic and the hospital, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, reproductive and contraceptive care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and in-office procedures such as endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy. She also treats conditions including abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, perimenopause and menopause symptoms and vulvar conditions. She has additional expertise in the diagnosis and management of dysplasia (pre-cancer) of the cervix, vagina and vulva and performs LEEP procedures, cold knife cone biopsies, cervical cryotherapy and laser ablation to treat this condition.
Ransohoff is passionate about medical education, quality-improvement efforts and providing personalized care that is based on professional experience and the best research to all patients.
Ransohoff earned her medical degree at UCSF, where she also completed a residency in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences.
