About me
An-Nhien Le is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who is dedicated to compassionate, holistic mental health care. With over a decade of experience working as a bedside nurse at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, her approach to treatment integrates psychotherapy, mindfulness, nutrition, appropriate lifestyle interventions and medications, with a strong emphasis on the mind–body connection. She is particularly interested in supporting patients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, ADHD and sleep difficulties. She collaborates with patients to help them navigate mental health challenges and life transitions with warmth, presence and treatment based on the latest research.
Le earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of San Francisco and her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She has also trained in and researched the use of psychedelics in psychiatric care, including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
Outside the clinic, Le enjoys meditation, breathwork, movement, and playing music. (She used to be in a band!)
