About me
Anna Pestine is a nurse-midwife who cares for women and people assigned female at birth across their lifespan. They are dedicated to health equity, reproductive justice, trauma-responsive care and combating weight stigma.
In research, Pestine is interested in improving the ways clinicians meet the needs of patients experiencing intimate partner violence.
Pestine earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. They earned their master of science in nursing with a focus on midwifery at Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.
