Arthur Long is a physical therapist who cares for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. He has expertise in treating sports injuries and in guiding patients through rehabilitation after surgery or physical trauma. In addition, he serves as faculty at UCSF, teaching therapeutic exercise and manual therapy to physical therapy doctoral students. He also mentors in the orthopedic residency program.

Long received his bachelor's degree in human physiology from the University of Oregon. He earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.

Long coached the adaptive track and field team during his time at the University of Oregon. He is an avid rock climber, acrobat and surfer, and has a passion for treating athletes in these sports.
