Ashwini Anand, NP

Ashwini Anand is a family nurse practitioner who cares for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Her approach starts with considering how each patient's background impacts their health, and she incorporates these elements into care to ensure that it's comprehensive and centered on individual needs and preferences. She encourages her patients to actively partner with her in this. She is passionate about providing holistic, equitable care, particularly for members of diverse groups, such as visible minorities and the LGBTQ+ community.

Anand earned her master's degree in nursing and primary health care at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Outside of work, Anand enjoys spending time with her partner, making ceramics and tending her ever-growing herb garden. A dog lover, she is always happy to greet furry friends with a pat or belly rub.
