Brooke Reid, AuD

Brooke Reid is a senior audiologist who oversees providers and operations at multiple UCSF audiology clinics. She also supports audiology care for hospitalized patients at UCSF and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Reid specializes in adult diagnostic audiology, hearing amplification, bone-anchored hearing aids, assistive listening devices and aural rehabilitation. She has special expertise in evaluating and treating tinnitus and hyperacusis and is committed to providing care that is based on professional experience and to the best research that is centered on each patient’s individual needs and enables their active participation. Helping patients reconnect with the sounds that matter most to them is a deeply meaningful part of Reid's work. 

Reid earned her doctor of audiology degree at the University of Florida. She completed a residency in audiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she worked before joining UCSF. She has worked at UCSF since 2018.
