About me
Dr. Cynthia Chin directs spinal pain management at the UCSF Imaging Center at China Basin. She is an expert in CT-guided spinal injections to treat pain. She also has expertise in magnetic resonance neurography (a specialized technique for imaging nerves), and spinal and nerve diffusion imaging.
In her research, Chin studies advanced imaging of the spine and nerves.
Chin earned her medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, where she completed a residency in radiology. She completed a neuroradiology fellowship at UCSF.
Chin is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, American Society of Neuroradiology and American Society of Spine Radiology.
