Dr. Anthony Mrgudich is a family physician who cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. He has special interests in pediatric care, prenatal care and reproductive health, as well as in the education of medical students and residents.

Mrgudich earned his medical degree from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. He completed a UCSF residency in family and community medicine, training at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Before joining the UCSF faculty, he worked for La Clínica de La Raza at its location in Vallejo, California, which cares for all patients regardless of their ability to pay.

    My son is a pediatrician and this Doctor reminded me of him. Wonderful caring doc. It was unfortunate that the wait time was so long but worth it in the end!

    The biggest negative is that he's perhaps too careful mindful to not illicit negative reaction from my child in his examination of him so the visit itself takes a long time on top of the hour we've already been waiting to see him in a hot stuffy room with insufficient ventilation. It's more important to us that the visit which is a routine well-child check up be over as quickly as possible so we can take our child to be fed to take his nap to get exercise etc. It's very hard for a toddler to be in an exam room with no air for over two hours.

    We love Dr Mrgudich! He is attentive spends a lot of time explains things thoroughly. We never feel rushed. The kids really like him and feel comfortable with him.

    Dr. Mrgudich apologized for delay did not rush my visit was very thorough in asking about my symptoms and health history to be sure that he screened for anything that might impact the appropriateness of the prescription that he was prescribing. He listened to everything I said answered my questions and he explained things thoroughly. This practice is great.

    The clinic system is such that I would not recommend people to the clinic as a whole; this is separate from the provider.
