Dr. Brent Kobashi is an internal medicine specialist who focuses on disease prevention in his patient care. He considers himself an interventional minimalist, emphasizing the fewest, best possible therapies with the most proven benefit. His particular interests include chronic disease management and quality of life, preventive care, healthy aging and treating such conditions as diabetes, high blood pressure and HIV.
Kobashi also is knowledgeable on the subjects of cross-cultural medicine and underserved populations.
Kobashi earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UCSF.
