About me
Dr. David Tran is a psychiatrist who treats mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He has particular expertise in mental health care and psychiatry for LGBTQ and HIV-positive patients. He provides medication support services and psychotherapy.
Tran earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a master of public policy degree at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. He completed a residency in psychiatry at UCSF.
Tran is the medical director of HIV and gender mental health services for the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
