Dr. Maria Byron is a specialist in internal medicine and a primary care doctor.
Byron works to design and implement solutions from the field of information science that support quality improvement, analysis, doctor job satisfaction, patient experience and outpatient care. Her efforts include a deep dive into UCSF clinic practices to optimize the use of electronic health records and workflow.
Byron's research focuses on improving outpatient care through information science.
Byron received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at UCSF.
