Dr. Mary Martin is a family medicine doctor who cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. She is particularly interested in caring for entire families and developing long-term relationships with her patients, which she believes helps her fully support their overall health. She is also interested in preventive medicine and women's health, including providing contraception – such as implantable contraceptive devices – and managing symptoms associated with menopause.

Martin earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a residency in family medicine at Cone Health, an affiliate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and California Academy of Family Physicians.

In her free time, Martin enjoys Southern cooking, walking to Baker Beach and through Golden Gate Park, and spending time with her husband and two young children.

    I feel very lucky to have Mary Martin as my primary care physician. She is knowledgeable, personable, and highly competent. She has a wealth of knowledge about my care and often practical suggestions for me to follow. She also does an excellent job of referral when it is needed.

    I left the office feeling confused. The Doctor couldn't give me a firm diagnosis. It's not her fault. But I was not given any suggestions for how to alleviate the discomfort and soreness I was experiencing.

    Dr Martin is always consistent in her presentation . She is always friendly yet directly to the point. She always tries to comeuppance with helphful solution to help solve some of my problems and suggest working with the social workers in her office which has been very helpful.

    Didn't appear rushed, had helpful suggestions, signposted everything. I prefer when providers listen to heart/lungs under the clothes or gown.
