    About our process

Excellent all around. I was almost in tears at the end of the appointment after years of pain finally felt understood and cared for. Explanations were clear with images so I could follow easily. He was kind and patience and present not rushed through the entire visit.

Dr Hatamiya is a model of what doctors should be like: genuine concern willingness to brainstorm friendly caring. I can't say enough good things about him. I have a complicated/ unclear situation and in my experience that can cause doctors to lose patience or check out because they can't resolve things quickly or easily. But Dr. Hatamiya clearly understands this and is willing to try different solutions

Dr. Hatamiya is FANTASTIC. 10/10. He epitomizes UCSF excellence. He was approachable pleasant and spent a lot of time reviewing my x-rays diagnosis and all options for treatment with me. He was very respectful and worked with me for what would work best for me. I do not require follow-up at this time however he said to message him or schedule another appointment if symptoms get worse. He also gave me an option to see him at an affiliate location closer to my house if I did need to come back. Great appointment.
