About me
Dr. Norman G. Hearst is a family doctor. He has special interests in HIV and AIDS epidemiology and prevention, expanding research capacity in developing countries and international health.
Hearst earned his medical degree at UCSF and completed a residency in family medicine at UCSF Fresno. He also received fellowship training in clinical epidemiology from UCSF. He earned a master of public health degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. John K., paralleling with Dr. Hearst, is the reason for all these positive ratings. That he took time to listen to and understand my situation in a kind and patient manner made a huge difference. And when I remarked on that to Dr. Hearst he endorsed the importance of listening - which is why I am very happy with Dr. Hearst's treatment over the years. He is very skillful at reading and working the me as an individual. Just an excellent, kind, effective physician. I'm lucky to have him as my PCP. Thanks to both of these good men.
