Dr. Yolanda Tinajero is an obstetrician and gynecologist who provides comprehensive reproductive health care. As a bilingual doctor, she specializes in caring for Spanish-speaking communities.

    Dr. Tinajero is incredible she's one of the best women's health doctors I've ever seen. She really takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and makes me feel like she sees me as a whole person not just a 15 min slot in her day.

    My Dr. Is very professional and caring. She diagnosed my condition where it had been missed by other providers in the past. Has a great bedside manner and very knowledgeable with my condition and concerns. Follow up are to begin further teatment.

    I've seen 3 different providers during this pregnancy and Dr Tinajero is by far the most thorough and has shown concerns for any questions I've had. Explanations have been clear and provided with sincerity and kindness. She's excellent!!

    Dr. Lopez Tinajero was wonderful. I came from having a very bad experience getting my IUD put in and knew that the removal would be complicated. Dr. Lopez Tinajero was so patient with me and made sure I consented for every part of the procedure. I could tell that she put my needs and wants first and that made me feel in control. I could actually feel that she cared about how I was feeling and cared about me having a good experience. I will definitely be coming to Dr. Lopez Tinajero for future appointments and recommending her to others.

    I was assigned one doctor who ended her residency with UCSF then assigned to a midwife who did not support my values. I was becoming disillusioned with UCSF but Dr. Tinajero is excellent in both her knowledge and manner with patients.

    Dr Tinajero is one of the nicest caring providers I've ever had - she answers all my questions and quells all of my concerns!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better OB in this process.

    I feel very comfortable when I am face to face with the provider but the second I leave the clinic I feel left on my own. It is very difficult to reach the provider so it puts a lot of pressure on me to make sure I bring all my questions and I don't forget anything at the visits

    Great caring experience after a previous bad IUD insertion at a different facility

    I was late due to bad weather and she focused on that more than my actual care. She hadn't read my chart and spent most of the time asking me questions that were already in my chart. She also didn't seem to understand genetic testing results because asked me questions that I had already answered. This was especially frustrating given that we were short on time. She was very unclear about next steps and what was needed for upcoming appointments.

    Dr Tinajero had been fabulous. I only wish she had been assigned to me as my OBGYN last year before I met with my previous doctor. Would highly recommend her to anyone

    Dr. Tinajero took her time with me which allowed me to ask all of my questions and not feel rushed. During the exam she explained what she was going to do very well and that helped me to feel more comfortable than I normally would during an exam. She also involved me in the decisions of what next steps to take and I felt very informed.
