Dr. Emma Chew Murphy is an obstetrician and gynecologist who provides comprehensive reproductive health care. They are trained in family planning and have expertise in abortion and contraceptive care. They perform in-office procedures and minimally invasive gynecology surgeries and have a particular interest in caring for trans and gender-diverse communities. Passionate about creating a trusting environment grounded in collaboration, dignity and respect, they value communicating with patients in ways that supports health decision making aligned with their unique needs and values.

Chew Murphy earned their medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. They completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in complex family planning at UCSF.
