About me

Dr. Erin McCreary is an obstetrician and gynecologist who cares for patients with cancer. After being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer herself at age 38, she chose to return to the Bay Area to focus on breast cancer prevention and survivorship care.

McCreary earned her medical degree at UCSF. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health and Science University. Prior to UCSF, she worked for over five years providing full-spectrum obstetric and gynecological care on the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico, for the Indian Health Service. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.

Outside the clinic, McCreary enjoys the delights of urban living in San Francisco: running and playing soccer in Golden Gate Park, walking her dog along the Embarcadero, trying all the newest pastry shops and cheering for the Golden State Valkyries.
