Hiu Yan Chow, who goes by Joan, is a nurse practitioner who provides primary care and urgent care requiring same-day attention.
Chow earned her master's degree in nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing. Prior to joining UCSF, she worked as a primary care provider for underserved populations at a community clinic in San Francisco.
