About me

Hui-Chia Huang is a family nurse practitioner who cares for patients of all ages. Her main focus is managing acute diseases (those that become apparent suddenly and require prompt attention). She also provides care for chronic diseases, and performs well-child checks and annual physical exams.

Huang earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado, where she also studied to become a family nurse practitioner. She worked as a nurse for 11 years at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital, and as a nurse practitioner in various practices in Colorado and California, before joining UCSF in 2018. She belongs to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
