Dr. Arevalo and the fellow he was working with, Dr. Nguyen, were professional and competent. I am grateful for their care. During the procedure, I felt frightened and was in pain, and I would have appreciated more narration of the process so that I would know what to expect from moment to moment. They were working out of my sight, behind my back, and I did not know what to expect, so every touch made me jump. I also felt that the positioning was not comfortable, and I would have appreciated more guidance on how to position myself so that I would be able to stay still and comfortable throughout the procedure. They spoke to each other during the procedure in a way that made me feel like I was not in the room, i.e. Let's do this if she will tolerate it. I felt that they could have been more patient centered and trauma informed in their manner.

Had my first appt with Dr Arevalo. He Is god sent to me. After years of trying to find the right dr for my condition, I finally found someone who understands, cares, listens, reduces my worry vs increasing it. I am very thankful for him and happy I am under his care now.
