About me
Dr. James C. Iannuzzi is a vascular surgeon who cares for adults with circulatory system disorders. He has a special interest in those who are frail or elderly.
Iannuzzi's research focuses on outcomes in vascular surgery. He uses sophisticated statistical techniques to identify and intervene in potentially high-risk patients. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading journals that cover multiple areas of surgery.
Iannuzzi earned his medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he served as chief resident and earned a master of public health degree. He was the inaugural research fellow at the University of Rochester's Surgical Health Outcomes and Research Enterprise. He also completed a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, the largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.
Iannuzzi is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and American College of Surgeons.
