About me

Dr. James C. Lee is a medical oncologist who specializes in caring for patients with advanced melanoma or other skin cancers.

Lee has more than a decade of research experience in cancer immunotherapy, focusing on understanding how the body's complex network of immune-regulatory processes influences the efficacy of these therapies. His goal is to design better treatment strategies that will enhance response while minimizing side effects.

Lee earned his medical degree at Yale School of Medicine, where he also earned a master's degree in health sciences, with a focus on cancer immunology. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at UCSF.

Not much reliable or regular communication about my care and status. I don't feel he is that involved in reviewing my health issues day to day and communicating next steps and reasoning in any great detail.

Communications and timely responses to my questions are sporadic, incomplete and not clear.
