About me

Dr. Janna Ochoa is an obstetrician-gynecologist who cares for women across all stages of life. She offers the full spectrum of gynecologic services, including routine well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, and treatment of common gynecologic conditions. She also performs a variety of in-office procedures, such as colposcopy (examination of the cervix), intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and removal, and endometrial biopsy. She is particularly interested in preventive women's health, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, and robotic-assisted surgery. She is experienced in preconception counseling, prenatal care and delivery, as well as both routine and high-risk pregnancies.

Ochoa earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Ochoa is an awardee and member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She is the mother to the sweetest baby boy and two very friendly (and naughty) Sphynx cats.
