About me
Yazdany is a prolific researcher focused on health disparities and improving outcomes for people with lupus. Her work has shed light on factors associated with lupus outcomes and response to treatment – findings that can be used to make health care practices more equitable.

She has played a key role in developing national quality measures for lupus treatment and is active in mentoring the next generation of lupus specialists and researchers. She continues to partner with her colleagues to innovate in care for patients with lupus and to facilitate access to cutting-edge therapies through clinical trials (studies of promising treatments using human volunteers).
Yazdany has received several honors for her work on SLE, including research prizes from the Lupus Foundation of America and Arthritis Foundation.
