About me
Jordan LaBrec is a physical therapist who cares for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. He has a special interest in helping men with pelvic floor dysfunction caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) or prostate cancer treatment. He also enjoys designing exercise plans for cancer survivors and improving patient care through mobile health solutions, such as wearable sensors.
In research, LaBrec is interested in determining the degree to which telehealth can help patients with knee osteoarthritis.
LaBrec earned his doctor of physical therapy degree from Columbia University. Before becoming a physical therapist, he was engaged in research on exercise as an adjunct therapy for addiction and other mental health disorders – work that he found immensely rewarding.
Outside of work, LaBrec has coached several sports at the collegiate level, including rowing and track. He was a hammer thrower in college and now stays active through weightlifting and cycling.
