Dr. Liza Valdivia is an infectious disease specialist who provides primary care for patients living with HIV or AIDS. She is particularly interested in supporting women and patients in underserved populations.
In research, Valdivia focuses on ways to improve care quality at her clinic, including how to facilitate better health outcomes and experiences for patients.
Valdivia earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, followed by a fellowship in infectious diseases at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
